A special formula is used to form a super sealed thermoplastic warm edge spacer for insulating glass, which adopts a manufacturing process of direct extrusion molding of a special butyl rubber mixed with molecular sieve as the first sealing material for insulating glass. TPE spacer sealant needs to be directly extruded onto glass using a suitable coating machine, fully utilizing traditional metal and plastic spacers, and already containing butyl rubber and molecular sieve components, without the need for additional filling. The second layer of adhesive uses two-component sealant (polysulfide adhesive or silicone adhesive) to complete the production of insulated glass.
TPE spacer strips are a new generation of excellent warm edge flexible materials. As they replace the traditional hard connection between metal and plastic spacers and glass, the resilience of TPE sealant can fully solve the "breathing effect" caused by thermal conduction and expansion/contraction of insulating glass, greatly reducing the problems of argon gas leakage, fogging and condensation inside the glass, and reducing the lifespan of doors and windows.
TPE insulating glass is a highly automated production process for insulating glass products, which improves the height flatness and accuracy of three glass two cavity and four glass three cavity, as well as large-sized insulating glass spacer strips, while reducing the yield problem caused by glass misalignment in the middle.
The TPE spacer material itself contains desiccant components and has low water vapor and gas permeability.
TPE material belongs to the butyl rubber category, with a much lower thermal conductivity than metal spacer materials, glass, and silicone.
Different from mainstream traditional aluminum partition strips with metallic reflective luster, TPE adhesive is matte black, and the color of the window frame can be reflected onto the TPE surface, forming a more unified visual effect and improving the overall beauty of doors and windows.
